Truck Slams Into Another on Knickerbocker, Jams Up Traffic

SAN ANGELO, TX — A two-vehicle crash near the intersection of Knickerbocker Road and Red Bluff Road disrupted traffic Friday afternoon as first responders worked to clear the scene.

San Angelo Police were dispatched around 5 p.m. following reports of a major crash involving two pickup trucks. At the scene, officers found a white pickup with its bedside and tailgate area crushed and a black pickup with front-end damage, consistent with a rear-end crash.

Traffic was reduced to one lane in each direction while emergency crews cleared debris and moved the vehicles.

By the time a reporter arrived at the scene, the investigation had concluded, and responders were finishing cleanup efforts.

A separate police incident involving a chase was also unfolding nearby on Knickerbocker Road shortly after the crash was reported.
