SAPD Releases Information on Lewd Assault of Child

SAN ANGELO, TX— The San Angelo Police Department has issued information regarding Bryan Huichapa who was arrested this morning for Sexual Assault of a Child.

Information released by San Angelo Police Department’s Public Information Officer Sergeant John Bouligny reads:

"On March 20, 2025, around 1:00 a.m. a Patrol Officer was patrolling the Meadow Creek Apartments and located a vehicle in the parking lot that had been called in to San Angelo Public Safety Communications about playing loud music.

As the Officer made contact with the vehicle, the Officer observed through the windshield that there was a male and female engaged in public lewdness in the vehicle. During the investigation it was discovered that the female was 14 years old.

The male subject, Bryan Huichapa ,18, was then placed under arrest for Sexual Assault of a Child and Public Intoxication.

There is no further information to release at this time."

Huichapa was arrested on March 20, 2025, and released later the same day on $40,462.00 bond.
