San Angelo Man Arrested After Police Observe Lewd Assault of Teen

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A San Angelo man has been arrested for sexually assaulting a 14-year-old victim.

Bryan Huichapa, 18, has been arrested for sexual assault of a child and public intoxication.

According to court documents, on March 20, 2025, an investigator spoke with a San Angelo police officer who stated he observed the defendant, Huichapa, engaged in the sexual assault of a child.

The victim was transported to the Hope House and forensically interviewed. During the interview, the child made an outcry that Huichapa sexually assaulted her.

Huichapa was arrested by the San Angelo Police Department and booked into Tom Green County Jail. He is being held on $40,462 bond.
