It remains unclear which vehicle failed to yield the right of way. Investigators are reviewing potential security footage from Shannon Medical Center to determine any violations before issuing citations.

The driver of the Tahoe opted to be transported by ambulance for evaluation at Shannon Medical Center, though their injuries did not appear incapacitating. The driver of the Civic declined medical transport.

The investigation is ongoing.
