Entrapment Reported After Crash on Loop 306 Near S Hwy US 87

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - A crash involving an older white sedan and a pickup truck on Loop 306 near South Highway US 87 resulted in at least two injuries and initial reports of entrapment on Saturday afternoon.

It happened around 4:20 p.m. Emergency responders from multiple agencies, including the Wall Volunteer Fire Department, San Angelo Fire Department, Texas Game Wardens, Texas Department of Public Safety, and Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office, worked to assist those involved.

Emergency dispatch audio confirmed that at least one person was trapped inside the damaged car.

Photos from the scene show a white sedan with damage to its passenger side and a pickup truck with front-end damage.

The extent of their injuries is currently unknown.

Traffic in the area was briefly disrupted as crews worked to clear the scene. Texas DPS is investigating the cause of the crash.
