Crash on Houston Harte Sends 1 to Hospital, Backs up Traffic

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A crash on the West Houston Harte Expressway on Tuesday morning sent one person to the hospital while backing up traffic.

The crash happened at about 10 a.m. near the Garfield Street overpass when a vehicle apparently slammed into the back of a minivan.

One person was loaded into an ambulance on a stretcher. Two other adults and a toddler in the minivan appeared unharmed.

The minivan was further down the road than the other vehicle that was believed to be involved in the collision. According to scanner traffic, there was no occupant in the first vehicle when police arrived.
