Odessa Man Dies After Motorcycle Collides with Kenworth Truck

 

MIDLAND, TX - A 33-year-old Odessa motorcyclist died a day after his Kawasaki collided with a Kenworth truck in Midland County, Texas Department of Public Safety reports.

It happened around 9 a.m. on October 28, at the intersection of WCR 100 and SCR 1305. Authorities said Ethan James Guerrero, the motorcyclist, was transported to Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, where he died from his injuries on October 29. It was reported that he was wearing a helmet. 

According to preliminary findings, Guerrero failed to control his speed and struck the rear of the truck, driven by Caleb Levi Wimp, 40, of Midland, as it turned into a private drive. Wimp was not injured.

The crash is still under investigation.
