Early Voting Turnout in Tom Green County Surges Past 21,000

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Early voting turnout in Tom Green County has reached 21,078 as of Monday morning, with strong daily turnout figures as the November 5 General Election approaches.

According to Tom Green County Elections Administrator Vona Hudson, 3,450 voters participated on Friday, followed by 2,505 on Saturday and 1,007 on Sunday. By Monday morning, an additional 397 votes had been recorded.

We reported Friday morning that 14,481 voters had turned out, representing about 22 percent of the county’s registered voters, according to Hudson. The turnout now represents about 32 percent of the county’s registered voters.

Early voting will continue until Friday, November 1, with extended polling hours across designated locations. Voters are reminded to bring acceptable identification and to follow polling place regulations, including restrictions on cell phone use and campaign materials within voting areas.
