Eight Dogs Facing Euthanasia as Shelter Nears Capacity

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo Animal Shelter has issued an urgent call for adopters and fosters as it approaches capacity.

As of Monday, October 7, the shelter houses 170 dogs, just 10 dogs below its maximum capacity of 180.

Eight dogs currently face euthanasia unless adopted, fostered, or transferred to another rescue organization by 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 12.

Shelter officials are urging interested individuals to reach out as soon as possible via email at [email protected].

The public can also view available shelter pets online at 24petconnect.com. The shelter is located at 3142 N US Highway 67 in San Angelo.
