San Angelo Man Arrested After Deputies Seize Large Amounts of Drugs During Traffic Stop

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Deputies with the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office seized large amounts of illegal drugs and arrested a local man following a traffic stop early on August 31.

The stop happened just after 3:30 a.m., during which deputies discovered over 1,170 grams of THC, 25 grams of cocaine, and 15 ounces of marijuana. An undisclosed amount of U.S. currency was also confiscated.

The driver, identified as 20-year-old Jeremiah Sanchez of San Angelo, was taken into custody and is facing multiple felony charges related to drug trafficking.

The Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office emphasized their ongoing efforts to combat the illegal drug trade and keep the community safe.
