Flash Flood Warning in Effect

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The National Weather Service issued a Flash Flood Warning for Tom Green County on Tuesday morning, September 3.

At 11:37 a.m. this morning, the NWS issued a flash flood warning that will be in effect until 2:45 p.m.

"This is a dangerous and life-threatening situation," the NWS said. "Do not attempt to travel unless you are fleeing an area subject to flooding or under an evacuation order."

The rainfall continues, and several areas around San Angelo remain underwater. The Concho Valley has received 3.5-7" of rain since yesterday.

"Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads," the NWS stated.
