Two Children Drown in Texas Pool, Police Investigating

 

SHERMAN, TX — Two 3-year-old children drowned in a swimming pool in Sherman on Wednesday, according to police.

The Sherman Police Department reported that on Aug. 28, just before noon, dispatch received a 911 call about two children who were found unconscious in a pool.

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and police arrived at the scene, where EMS began life-saving measures.

The children were transported to a hospital, but despite efforts, they did not survive.

The Sherman Police Criminal Investigation Division is continuing the investigation.
