Local Man Arrested After Crashing into His Residence

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A San Angelo man crashed into his house and was arrested for driving while intoxicated last night. 

This happened on July 30, 2024, at around 10 p.m., when San Angelo Public Safety Communications received reports of a major motor vehicle crash on the 100 block of West Avenue J.

According to information released by the San Angelo Police Department’s Public Information Officer John Bouligny, officers arrived and observed a vehicle had crashed into a residence.

The investigation revealed that Navor Franco, 64, had been operating a motor vehicle in a public place and then crashed into his own residence.

Franco showed signs of intoxication and was arrested for driving while intoxicated for the second time, after the completion of the investigation.

There is no further information to release at this time.

Franco was booked into the Tom Green County Jail on July 31, 2024, and has been released on $5,000 bond.
