WATCH: Vehicle Demolished in Major Crash on US Highway 67

 

SAN ANGELO, TX— South US Highway 67 was shut down near the FM 2335 intersection after a major fiery crash.

At approximately 8:45 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2024, the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office sent out a Nixle alert informing motorists to avoid South US Highway 67 near Cross Ranch Road just south of Duncan Road and 12 Mile Bridge due to a major crash.

 
 
 

Both northbound and southbound lanes were shut down while crews worked to clean the roadway and law enforcement performed their investigation.

Scanner reports indicated that a red sedan was on fire and the individual was trapped inside.

Injuries are unknown at this point.
