SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo Animal Shelter has successfully found fosters or adoptive homes for all 20 dogs that were at risk of euthanasia due to overcapacity.
While this immediate crisis has been resolved, the shelter stresses the importance of continued support to avoid future overcapacity issues.
Residents are encouraged to spay/neuter their pets and consider fostering or adopting from the shelter to help manage the population. For more information or to apply, visit cvpaws.org.
The shelter must keep its dog population under 180.
