Rollover Shuts Down TX-208 Just North of Coke County Line

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A single vehicle rollover has closed down TX-208 just over the county line with Coke County. At the scene, we observed a gold-colored pickup upside down in the middle of the road. TX-208 is impassable.

The call for service over the radio indicated that there was a man laying in the middle of the highway bleeding. Upon closer inspection, the 9-1-1 called told dispatch the man may be deceased.

The crash happened along the stretch of highway where there are multiple sharp curves in the road. It happened at around 11:30 a.m. on Monday, May 13, 2024.
