TXDOT Not Anticipating More Traffic Backups Over Nasworthy

SAN ANGELO, TX - Yesterday, traffic was backed up on Knickerbocker over the Lake Nasworthy bridge several times as contractors were setting concrete barriers using a crane.

TXDOT stated that they are not anticipating backups or stopping of traffic again until the traffic is switched to the opposite of the bridge.

“That will require that one set of concrete barriers to be moved,” TXDOT stated.

The lane width is now 10' 7 " through the work zone.

Contractors will be doing routine maintenance to the bridge for the next eight weeks or so.
