SAN ANGELO, TX – The Texas Department of Transportation has released details about the ongoing construction of the Veteran Memorial Bridge spanning Lake Nasworthy along Knickerbocker Rd.
According to TXDOT, maintenance is being performed on the expansion joints of the bridge.
Painting on the steel beams is also going to be initiated.
Depending on the weather, TXDOT stated that the public should expect this project to last several weeks and that the traffic pattern shift may change according to the work being performed.
Earlier it was reported that traffic going both directions is one way and that concrete barriers are being placed along the length of the bridge.
