SAN ANGELO – A two vehicle crash with injuries at the intersection of Grand Canal Rd. and U.S. 277 south blocked the intersection Friday afternoon.
According to emergency communications, San Angelo Police and EMS were dispatched to the scene of a major crash at the busy intersection around 1:45 p.m. Friday.
Reporters on the scene say a black Dodge Ram pickup and a Black Dodge SUV crashed in the intersection.

It is unknown at this time if or how many people were injured but at least one ambulance was dispatched to the scene. Both vehicles appeared to have major damage which is usually associated with a high speed crash.
