Crash on I-20 Leaves One Woman Dead

MIDLAND, TX- A crash on I-20 in Midland Sunday left one Big Spring woman dead.

DPS reports indicate that Willie Conner was driving west on I-20 east of Midland when he veered into the shoulder and hit a woman’s vehicle in the rear.

The woman, Emily Crawford of Big Spring, was sitting inside the SUV and was parked on the shoulder because she was running out of gas.

Conner, 61, was taken to Midland Memorial and was released but Crawford, 23, was pronounced dead at the scene. Neither individual was wearing a seat belt.
