SAN ANGELO, TX –– A three-vehicle crash sent at least one driver to the hospital on Friday morning.
According to SAPD, shortly after 10:00 a.m. officers were dispatched to the intersection of Abe Street and W. Beauregard for reports of a major crash.
The preliminary investigation revealed a Chevy Equinox and Dodge pickup were traveling westbound on Beaurgaurd when a Honda Accord left the CVS parking lot. The Accord began traveling southbound on Abe and disregarded the red light.
As a result of the collision, the driver of the Dodge was transported to Shannon Medical Center to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Equinox and the two occupants of the Accord were not injured in the crash.
The driver of the Accord was issued a citation for disregarding a red light.
