Motorcyclist Dies One Month After Horrific Crash

ABILENE, TX –– A horrible motorcycle crash a day before Thanksgiving came to a terrible end days before Christmas in Abilene.

Back on November 24th, 60-year-old Saul Rodriguez was critically injured in a crash near the intersection of West Stamford Street and Grape Street.

Rodriguez's motorcycle was struck by a driver who failed to yield the right of way at the stop sign. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Rodriguez was rushed to Hendrick Medical Center but was later flown to a Fort Worth area hospital for additional treatment.

After spending a month in the hospital, Rodriguez succumbed to his injuries that were "a direct result of...the collision."
