San Angelo Police: Avoid Houston-Harte Over Bryant Blvd.

SAN ANGELO – A multi-vehicle crash has shut down the Houston-Harte expressway over Bryant Blvd. and San Angelo Police are requesting motorists to avoid the highway all together. 

The SAPD issued a nixle alert stating, "Avoid Houston Harte Westbound side over Bryant.  There is a vehicle accident and Westbound lane is shut down."

Reports indicate there were two multi-vehicle crashes and at least one involved a dog being hit.  Traffic is blocked at Main St. and Officers are trying to get traffic cleared.  

Reporters on the scene say it appears at least ten vehicles are involved and officers are attempting to reverse traffic in the area.
