Police Investigating Fatal Crash on the Winters Freeway

ABILENE, TX – A fatal crash occurred Monday morning on the Winters Freeway in Abilene. 

According to reports, on Sep. 20, Abilene Police were dispatched to the Winters Freeway near the Ambler overpass for the report of a major crash.

When they arrived, the officers discovered that the crash was fatal.

It is unknown the identity of the deceased at this time.

Police are asking the public to avoid the area.
