Odessa Woman Who Campaigned Against Drunk Driving Killed In Rollover Crash

ODESSA – The Odessa community is mourning the loss of Tera Crossland, the founder of N.A.T.E. and a fierce advocate who campaigned against drunk driving.

Back in 2017, Crossland's teenage son Nathaniel was killed by a drunk driver who crossed over the median and struck the teen's pickup.

Crossland then went on to found Need Advice Talk Experience or N.A.T.E. to help those struggling with the loss of a loved one.

According to DPS, Crossland was traveling on the John Ben Shepard Parkway when her car left the roadway and rolled.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
