SAN ANGELO, TX – A parked Chevrolet Corvette for sale in a used car lot on Sherwood Way was mangled when a Chevrolet Malibu jumped the curb and crashed into the expensive sports car Wednesday afternoon.
According to San Angelo Police Department Traffic Division investigating officer Younts the black Malibu was eastbound on Harris Ave. at Sherwood Way by Pho Saigon.

The Malibu crossed over Sherwood Way, jumped the curb and crashed into the red Corvette.
The impact of that crash pushed the mangled Corvette into a Lincoln passenger car also for sale on the used car lot.
The driver of the Malibu was transported to Shannon Medical Center with unknown injuries. The original radio dispatch indicated the driver 'was not awake."
Officer Younts says citations are pending.
