Texas Top 10 Most Wanted Captured in Mexico

AUSTIN, TX- One of Texas’ top 10 Most Wanted sex offenders is in custody according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Rodriguez was caught by Mexican government officials in coordination with the US Marshals.

Camilo Rodriguez was detained in Cancun, Mexico and was extradited back to Wharton County on February 11th.

Rodriguez has been wanted since July 2019 when he left El Campo and was added to the Most Wanted List in February 2020.

Camilo Rodriguez was wanted for three counts of sexual assault of a child, two counts of failure to register as a sex offender, two counts of criminal mischief, one count of assault/family violence, and one count of burglary of a habitation.
