STANTON, TX – The Texas Department of Public Safety has confirmed the death of one person in a fiery four vehicle crash on I-20.
According to CBS7, on Dec. 17, troopers with the Department of Public Safety were dispatched to I-20 in Martin County for the report of a major crash involving four vehicles.
When the troopers arrived they discovered a fuel truck, an 18-wheeler, a box van, and a passenger car that had crashed in the middle of the road way. Upon arrival the crash was fully engulfed in flames.

Emergency responders were able to get three of the drivers out of their vehicles but one driver did die in the crash.
Two of the drivers in the crash were airlifted to the hospital with unknown injuries. It is unknown the injuries of the fourth driver.
Troopers have determined that the fuel truck struck the 18-wheeler from the back causing the crash.
