SAPD: Driver Transported to Hospital After Rollover Crash

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Shortly after 8:00 a.m. SAPD was dispatched to the 4800 block of W Houston Harte Expy Frontage Rd Eastbound for a rollover crash.

According to SAPD, the two vehicles involved were a white Dodge Challenger and a Tan Toyota Sienna. The charger was traveling on the 2000 block on Northwest Dr. while the Sienna was traveling east on the frontage road.

 

According to the investigation, the driver of the Challenger, a 21-year-old female, failed to yield the right-of-way to the driver of the Sienna, a 31-year-old female. The impact caused the Sienna to roll and end up on one side.

The driver of the Sienna was transported to Shannon to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Challenger was issued a citation for failure-to-yield the right of way.
