Driver of Range Rover Ejected and Killed in Rollover Crash

MIDLAND, TX – The Midland Police Department has confirmed the death of a 40-year-old following a rollover crash inside the Midland city limits. 

According to CBS 7, on Oct. 13, officers with the Midland Police Department were dispatched to the 300 block of West Loop 250 for the report of a major crash. 

When they arrived they found a Range Rover that had rolled over in the median. They also found the driver, Pedro Lugo, 40, that had been ejected from the car. 

Lugo was not wearing his seatbelt and was pronounced dead on scene. 

Alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor in the crash, according to MPD.
