SAN ANGELO, TX – A two vehicle crash at the intersection of Sherwood Way and Oxford Monday afternoon sent an SUV into a pole.
According to San Angelo Police Department Traffic Division investigating officer Bradshaw, one SUV was eastbound on Sherwood Way and another was southbound on Oxford.

The SUV on Sherwood Way had a green light. The SUV on Oxford ran the red light and crashed into the other SUV sending it onto private property at Plaza 67 West where it struck a private utility pole.
The driver of the SUV that hit the pole was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
The driver of the SUV on Oxford who caused the crash was issued a citation for disregarding the red light.
