ABILENE, TX – Officers with the Abilene Police Department arrested a 23-year-old man for possession of child pornography. On Wednesday, the Abilene Police Department Cyber Crimes Unit and the Dyess Air Force Base’s Office of Special Investigations, executed a search and arrest warrant for Yi Huang at a residence located in the 400 block of Avenue D on Dyess AFB.
Yi Huang (23 yoa), was arrested on location and ultimately charged with Second Degree Felony Promotion of Child Pornography. Huang is currently accused of downloading and uploading child pornography through the use of the internet. Multiple electronic devices and evidence were seized during a search of the residence including Huangs' personal vehicle.
Huang was arrested and immediately transported to the Taylor County jail.
