TYE, TX – A speeding driver was surprised police officers pulled him over for driving almost 100 mph.
According to KTXS, the driver told police “he did not think the police would pull him over because of COVID-19.”
When police searched the vehicle, they found cocaine, marijuana, and a gun.
The driver identified as 33-year-old Martin Ramos, Jr. was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana and unlawful carry of a firearm.
Tye Police Chief Jay Strong reminded the public, “We are still protecting and serving."
