Body Recovered From Water at Park by Dive Team

 

LUBBOCK, TX – A body has been recovered from Mackenzie Park by the Lubbock Fire and Rescue Dive Team Monday. 

According to Everything Lubbock, on April 13, at around 1:15 p.m. officers with the Lubbock Police Department were dispatched to Mackenzie Park for the report of a homicide. 

The Lubbock Fire and Rescue dive team was then called in to recover the body. 

The identity of the person is unknown at this time. 

Police told everything Lubbock that "it was not immediately clear what led to the incident but they are actively investigating it as a homicide."
