Sheriff: 22-Year-Old Arrested for Murder of Family Member

ODESSA, TX – Authorities have arrested 22-year-old Dalton Lee Gilcrease after police allege he killed a family member Wednesday night.

According to CBS7, a family dispute turned violent and resulted in the death of the victim. When deputies arrived at the scene they found a crowd of people and a handgun outside the house.

Inside, deputies found the victim with a gunshot wound in the chest. The victim died at the scene.

In the course of the investigation, Gilcrease was charged with murder and taken into custody.
