Crash Injures 4-year-old in Downtown San Angelo

SAN ANGELO, TX -- A 4-year-old boy was injured in a two vehicle crash at the intersection of S. Koenigheim and Twohig streets Tuesday afternoon.

According to San Angelo Police Department investigating officer Bradshaw, a white Chevrolet Suburban and a compact Nissan four door SUV were northbound on Koenigheim.

Apparently, the Chevrolet was in the outermost lane and the Nissan was in the middle lane.

The Nissan turned in front of the Chevrolet and they crashed in the intersection.

The boy was in the back seat in a car seat.  He allegedly bumped his head.

Medics checked him out and cleared him.  He was not taken to the hospital.

Officer Bradshaw said no citations were issued at this time pending the completion of the investigation into the crash.

No one else was injured.
