SAN ANGELO, TX -- A Monday workday had a less than favorable ending as a red out of town plumbing van crashed into a silver Hyundai van late Monday afternoon at the intersection of Smith Boulevard and the Houston Harte Freeway Frontage Road.

According to San Angelo Police Department Investigating Officer Long, the red plumbing van was traveling southbound on Smith Boulevard when the driver failed to yield the right of way from the stop sign resulting in a crash with a silver Hyundai traveling west on the frontage road.
A passenger from the silver Hyundai was transported to the hospital. The driver of the red plumbing van was cited for failure to yield the right of way and was treated for a head wound on the scene but was not taken to the hospital.
