Vacant House Burns Down

MERKEL, TX-- A vacant house burned down early Tuesday morning in Merkel, TX, according to KRBC.

The Merkel Volunteer Fire Department arrived at the house, already in flames, at around 5:30 a.m.

The Tye Volunteer Fire Department and the View Volunteer Department also assisted with the fire.

Fire marshals still have not disclosed the cause of the fire, but say no one was inside.
