Test Drive Leaves Two Injured in Rush Hour Crash That Shuts Down N. Bryant Traffic

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Rush hour traffic came to a standstill in the northbound lanes of the 400 block of N. Bryant Blvd Wednesday afternoon after a crash sent two people to the hospital. 

According to reporters on the scene, both vehicles had temporary dealer tags.  

There was a Chrysler 200 sedan and a Nissan Frontier four door pickup.  

The red Nissan Frontier was headed southbound on Bryant according to San Angelo Police Department investigating officer Welch. 

Welch said the female driver was going to turn around and head northbound and failed to yield the right of way. 

Her vehicle was struck by the Chrysler.  There were three people in the Nissan and they were test driving that vehicle. 

Welch said the driver of the Chrysler had just purchased the vehicle and had just left the dealership,  

The Nissan driver was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.  

The passenger in the Chrysler was also transported to Shannon Hospital by ambulance as a precaution according to Welch. 

The driver of the Nissan will be issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way,
