SAN ANGELO, TX -- Scattered showers and thunderstorms from Christoval to San Angelo to Vancourt and Lowake between Barnhart and Mertzon from Robert Lee to Blackwell and from Trent to Abilene and Baird northward to Albany and Throckmorton at 155 p.m. will drift north at 5 mph.
Locally heavy rainfall over 1/2 inch is likely in the stronger storms including in the city the San Angelo. Localized street flooding is possible.
Periods of scattered thunderstorms will be possible through the end of this week. The main weather hazards will be dangerous lightning and heavy rainfall that may lead to localized flooding and gusty winds.
The forecast calls for a 30 percent chance of rain Sunday afternoon, 40 percent Sunday night and increasing to 50 percent by Labor Day.
