SAN ANGELO, TX -- Fire destroyed a cabin at Lake Nasworthy Wednesday afternoon. San Angelo firefighters were called to a structure fire at Spring Creek Marina around 1 p.m. to find a cabin fully engulfed.
According to battalion chief Jaden Neely, they were able to put the blaze out quickly.
SAFD Rescue One searched the cabin and found no one. Neely says the cabin was rented but no one was there at the time of the fire.
The San Angelo Fire Marshall's office is investigating the fire.
