The small four door sedan was hit in the driver’s side by a white late model Dodge Ram four door pickup.  The collision trapped the driver of the sedan in his vehicle according to officer Gochnauer.

San Angelo firefighters used the jaws of life to cut the driver out of his damaged vehicle.  Officer Gochnauer said the driver was screaming in pain while he was trapped in his vehicle and was transported to the hospital by ambulance.

The driver of the four door sedan was the only person injured in the crash.    The investigation continues into the crash.

What an awful, irresponsible, and insensitive headline. There are many other catchy headlines than that. Of course the victim was in pain from the injuries in the wreck. Being trapped in a mangled vehicle is no fun either. Put the shoe on the other foot...if that was you in that vehicle, how would you react...how would you feel about seeing that headline. Good Grief! Go to school.

Well, I am disappointed. I really held out hope that these "rants" actually meant something. I was hoping to see at least a change in the headline, but the original rant is not even showing so I guess it got deleted. I will consider myself ignored.

Driver is negligent. Driver runs red light. Driver gets t-boned by truck. Driver reaps the harvest of his negligence. Totally unfortunate and a very painful way to learn the need to pay attention and drive by the rules created to keep us all safe.
