Lincoln Loses in crash with Front End Loader on Sherwood Way at Arden Rd.

SAN ANGELO, TX – The driver of a four-door Lincoln had a blow out and hit the bucket of a parked front end loader on Sherwood Way at Arden Rd shortly before 5 p.m. Wednesday.

According to investigating San Angelo Police Officer Welch, the white Lincoln was making a right hand turn from Arden Rd. onto Sherwood Way in front of H-E-B when the car experienced a blown tire sending it into the parked front end loader in a construction zone.

A worker loading the bucket saw the crash coming and got out of the way.

The driver of the Lincoln was complaining of chest pains and was treated at the scene but was uninjured.  Officer Welch says the driver was issued citations unrelated to the wreck.

The front end loader was unoccupied at the time of the crash.
