Blow Out Causes Driver to Crash Pickup and Trailer on Armstrong

SAN ANGELO, TX – A combination of high speed and a blown out tire sent a pickup and trailer through a fence on Armstrong this evening.

 According to information from investigating police officer Salmon, the male driver suffered minor injuries when the Chevrolet pickup he was driving, pulling an enclosed trailer, suffered a blowout while he was southbound on Armstrong. 

The pickup and trailer landed on the inside of a metal fence in the 4800 block of Armstrong.  The driver was cited for Failure to Control Speed.
