Truck Rolls On Beauregard After SUV Disregards Stop Sign

SAN ANGELO, TEXAS -- Shortly after 11 p.m. this evening, at the intersection of N. Campus and W. Beauregard, two vehicles collided causing one to overturn and another to spin out of control.

San Angelo Police Department (SAPD) Officer Guevara stated that a white truck was traveling westbound on Beauregard when a black Tahoe, traveling northbound on N. Campus, disregarded a stop sign and collided with the truck.

The impact caused the truck to roll over and the Tahoe to spin around out of the intersection.

Based on preliminary investigation, officers believe that both cars were traveling at high rates of speed before impact.

Miraculously, no one was injured. The drivers of both vehicles were evaluated on the scene, but both refused medical treatment.

The driver of the black Tahoe will be given a citation for disregarding a stop sign.

Both SAPD and San Angelo Fire personnel responded to the scene.
