SAN ANGELO, TX - This afternoon, a tire blow out led to a rollover crash on US 87, and three people went to the hospital.
Department of Public Safety Sgt. Justin Baker said, at approximately 3:37 p.m. this afternoon, State Troopers dispatched to a one-vehicle crash at 8345 US HWY 87 N. The vehicle, a black 1997 Ford F-150 occupied by three individuals: a male driver, a female passenger, and a child, was traveling northbound on US 87 when a tire blew out. As a result, the truck went into a side skid and rolled over onto its top.
"All occupants were transported to Shannon Medical Center for possible injuries," said Sgt. Baker.
At this time, the crash is still under investigation, so no citations have been issued. Injuries are unknown, and no further details are available. We will provide more information once available.
