SAN ANGELO, TX - The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office is assisting the Texas Parks & Wildlife by posting a flyer containing information on a crime that occurred Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016. Texas' Wildlife Crime-Stoppers is calling the investigation into the incident "Operation Game Thief."
Currently, a $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the man responsible for dragging a buck into a wooded area in Tom Green County near Lake Nasworthy, Texas.
On Saturday, Nov. 3, at approximately 5 p.m., Game Wardens received a call about a male subject doing donuts off Fisherman's Road around the Lake Nasworthy park entrance.
"Witnesses stated a white male, possibly in his early 20s, wearing Under Armor camo was driving," officials said. "They observed him drag the buck into a wooded area. He was driving a late model, white, single cab, Toyota Tundra pick-up truck with full front end replacement bumper."

According to an update provided by the Tom Green County Sherriff’s Office, Texas Park & Wildlife Wardens apprehended two suspects yesterday believed to be connected to Operation Game Thief. The suspects had utilized a cross bow to kill the buck and then dragged it into the woods where it was found. Charges are currently pending.
The Sheriff’s Office and Texas Parks & Wildlife Department would like to thank the citizens of Tom Green County for submitting their tips concerning the crime; they value the community's support.
