San Angelo, Texas - An elderly female on her way to church in a silver Mitsubishi SUV struck a black passenger car, lost control and overturned her vehicle.
San Angelo Police Officer Gonzales said officers were dispatched to the intersection of Palo Duro and Blue Ridge at 10:28 a.m. for the crash.
They found the overturned vehicle, but the owner of the passenger car could not be located. The vehicle was unoccupied at the time of the collision.
Gonzales said medics transported the woman to the hospital because she was complaining of chest pains.
“She was talking and breathing and was conscious,” said Gonzales.
He added that she got a scratch on her elbow, but none of her injuries are considered life threatening.
Gonzales said the woman will receive a citation for failure to control speed.

tries to sell you a used car that was only driven to church on Sundays by a little old lady, you should probably have it checked out anyway. JS

PermalinkMartin, it's unlikely, but I suppose it's possible this dear lady was akin to "The Little Old Lady From Pasadena" made famous by the Beach Boys. She was the one with the dual quad Superstock Dodge.
All kidding aside, I hope she's okay.
