A San Angelo Police officer at the scene said officials responded to Bell Street and Rio Concho for a crash involving a vehicle versus a pedestrian shortly after 8:30 p.m. The car was traveling north on Bell Street, and, at the same time, two male juveniles were crossing the street on bicycles. One boy made it across, but the other didn’t.

“He ended up getting hit by the car,” said the officer. “Right now, it looks like injuries are minor. I don’t know of any major injuries as of yet.”

The officer said the boy was transported to Shannon Medical Center for treatment.
From what witnesses said, the juveniles had the right of way to cross, but the crash is still under investigation.
