Suddenlink Van Collides with a Chevy Pickup

One driver went to Community Medical Center this afternoon after the driver for Suddenlink rammed into her vehicle.

Officer Brian Bylsma, with the San Angelo Police Department, said he was dispatched to Childress and Glenna for a major motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival, Bylsma learned that a 1992 Chevrolet Silverado pickup was traveling westbound and was stopped in the left lane attempting to make a left turn onto Childress when the driver of a Suddenlink van, a 2004 Chevy 2500, ended up running into the back of her.

“The driver of the blue pickup truck was taken to Community Hospital,” said Bylsma. “I have not had a chance to talk to her yet to get her side of the story.”

“The driver of the Suddenlink van was issued a citation for failure to control speed,” said Bylsma.

Bylsma added that the driver of the van complained of back pain, but he refused ambulance services. He does not know the extent of the other driver’s injuries as of yet.

Headlines should have read, "Suddenlink van destroyed in at fault collision resulting in injuries to the other party"..........

Well folks..., so much for those new little HDTV boxes being free for 2 years and then $3 dollars per month after that....... Effective next month, each customer will pay an extra $35 per month for unexpected cable service fees along with a now $5 per month fee per HDTV box to help defray the costs of a new van and to pay the medical bills and lawsuit that will be awarded to the injured party in this accident...........

Republic trash services have done this to us all due to their trucks ripping power lines down, being involved in accidents and other property damage caused by their trucks and have passed their new fee's to us disguised as "increased fee's" due to the lack of recycling by customers.........

Doctor Ding-bat, I agree with you 1000%! I have no doubt that "SUDDENLUCK" has hidden agendas already in place to recoup upcoming losses incurred from this 2 year "giveaway" of HDTV boxes and now this unfortunate accident. Fortunately no serious injuries here! I'd be willing to bet you a "Burrito" that the driver was probably "texting" just prior to the accident! Regardless, this freebee from "SUDDENLUCK" will be costly in the long run. Sadly, service will not be any better! "ADIDAS MY FRIENDS"
